How do I create a Buy Nothing Facebook Group?

Before building a group on Facebook, consider becoming a Sustaining Member and create a Buy Nothing Private Community built just for you by the Buy Nothing team!

2) Facebook New Groups Steps: Or, if you want your group on Facebook, to license our Buy Nothing groups materials for use on Facebook, and to become a registered Buy Nothing group on Facebook, please visit our Give Lively Page to make a minimum of a $15 contribution/licensing fee and we'll build your group for you, loading it up with our copyrighted Group Description, Rules, and 3-Questions, as well as a Welcome Post from the Buy Nothing Team.

3) Fill Out the Form: Complete our Start a Buy Nothing Group form and we'll then build your group and contact you from there.

4) Create Your Buy Nothing Account: Regardless, the first step is to create your Buy Nothing profile in the app, so you can connect with community-members there, receive your Supporter Badge once you pay your licensing fee (it's a $15 minimum, so if you're feeling generous, we're a community-supported movement and would welcome a recurring donation or larger contribution), get tips from the Buy Nothing founding team, and view your registered group listing and map pin.
