I Have a Difficult Admin and Want to Start My Own Buy Nothing Group
Overview
We’re sorry you’ve had a challenging experience with a local admin. We fully support your desire to create the kind of welcoming, inclusive gifting community you’d like to see.
There are several solid options available to you for starting a new Buy Nothing community.
1. Start Your Own Community (Two Paths)
You can build a new Buy Nothing community on Facebook or on the Buy Nothing app.
Option A: Start a New Facebook Group
If you’d like to create a new Buy Nothing Facebook group, please review the official guidance below to ensure your group is set up correctly and aligned with community standards.

This option removes many of the challenges associated with third-party platforms.
